SO IT BEGINS....

So, if you've been reading Marci's blog you know that I was supposed to start this several weeks ago. Let's just say I'm a bit behind.

That being said, I have been inspired by Valerie's blog. I love reading what they're up to and seeing the pictures (even without any of Valerie) ...Is it just me or have her kids just sprouted up??? I've always seen a little bit of Rachel in Taryn and I'd love to hear any of the Peterson Clan sound off on that one.

Let me start this blog off right by showing you some great pictures of Heceta Head out on the coast. We spent Labor Day with 2 families that we just love flying kites, playing in the sand and trying not to get blown away! It is so dang windy out there!! I can't say this is the most flattering picture of us (like I said, it was windy and turned my hair into a mop) but at least this is a current picture of our family. Notice that there's not a lot















of sun in any of these pictures. The last one cracks me up because we were trying to bury the umbrella deep enough that it wouldn't blow away. It didn't work.
