Columbus Day!!!

So, Dennis had this last week off and we went on some fun day trips. On Monday we drove up to Tillamook and took a tour of the cheese factory. Of course, we had to sample the ice cream and cheese and pose for pictures with every cow and ship we saw.

Then we stopped outside of Tillamook at some falls that turned out not to photograph well. Our kids love to "hike" and Jackson has special shoes he puts on whenever he thinks we might walk more than 5 minutes....that's a hike.

The one thing I didn't get pictures of was the best part of the day. We went and flew kites out on the coast at Lincoln City and it was BEAUTIFUL!! Not only was it windy enough to keep the kites in the air, it was sunny and warm. That's a first for me on the Oregon Coast. We ate dinner at Mo's after a little outlet shopping and went home exhausted! What a fun family day!
