To Grandmother's House We Go...

On Tuesday we decided to take the scenic route up to Grandma K's house. On paper we found some great falls to hike to, but what the map didn't show was how curvy the roads were getting to Alsea Falls. I wound up getting carsick which left Dennis and the 2 kids by themselves to hike to the falls. As it turned out, they hiked the wrong direction and wound up at these little falls. Dennis wound up straining his back lifting the kids around the water and so everyone was not in their best physical shape by the afternoon and our next stop.

We went on to have a great visit with Grandma Krumperman. In the pictures she looks a little surprised and I think it's the fact that our kids are HEAVY!! I also stopped in and saw Bridgette's (Hodson) baby, Owen. He is adorable, but my camera's memory was full. Bummer!
