A GREAT Halloween memory...
So, this picture reminded me of a Halloween long past. I don't know if Marci could really pass as Taryn's mom or not, but here's our story:**
When Marci was only 2 (and I was 13ish) I decided to take her around trick-or-treating in our neighborhood. I wanted to dress up, so I wore one of Mom's dresses and pretended to be pregnant. It actually looked very good....anyway, we arrived at an old lady's house down in the first cul-de-sac of 1ooth street. She gave me a really funny look as Marci said her trick-or-treat and asked me how old I was. Thinking that I was really too old to be out begging for candy, I LIED!! I told her that I was 11...and she gave me the NASTIEST look! It took me a second to realize that she had mistaken Marci for my daughter and had assumed that I was pregnant with my 2nd child! It actually was hilarious...especially for those of you who knew me at 13...I was so straight-laced that I wouldn't even consider kissing Brent Barnett or Steve Wolbrecht, let alone get pregnant!!! (How's that for a blast from the past?? Steve would be proud to be named on my blog.)

Happy Halloween! Choose your costumes with care!

Cute pictures! For a minute there I thought Marci must have made a special trip to Spokane for Halloween! Taryn is getting so big! I can't believe how blonde her hair is either (you were that blonde though too, weren't you?).
Fun, fun!
I love that story. I remember when it happened!
