That's logic for you...
I got a great look at how Taryn's mind works yesterday during lunch. Here's how the conversation played out.
**
T- Mom, I really like French Fries. Aren't French Fries made out of potatoes??
J- Yeah, they are.
T- I really like potatoes.
J- I like potatoes, too.
T- And because I like French Fries, I like potato bugs.
J- Uh huh. Yeah. Makes sense to me.

She's really starting to crack me up! Funny thing is, she doesn't really like real potatoes...just french fries and potato bugs. We got her signed up for her pre-ballet class and she is super excited. She twirls in circles with her arms over her head in a circle and does little leaps. I can only imagine the fun she'll be as a teenager.

French Fries and Potato Bugs are both much better than regular old potatoes. On the flip side this association could lead to trouble if she decides that Potato Bugs must also be made from potatoes and therefore make for some good eatin'. I hope you blog about that story when it happens. That should be a good one.
Makes sense to me. Kids say the funniest things. Just stopped by to see what you and your family are up to. So fun to hear about your experiences. Sorry that your old house had to go to a Jerk. But glad that it sold.-Zoie

Tell Taryn her logic is GREAT! The world doesn't get much better than French Fries and Potato Bugs.
I can't wait to see pictures & videos of her twirling all around. How adorable! How's your hand these days Janyse?
ummm, does Taryn know that I love potato bugs? I used to go hunting for them with Tyler & Andy on our way to school, and we would put them in a cup, leave them behind the fence by the church, and run pick them up after school. We were always so sad when the cup was empty, which was every day. If only we had realized that the bugs could get out of the cup we would've put a lid with holes. dang it!
How cute! She's growing up to come up with that logic!
