Meerkat Manor
So, last night I watched Meerkat Manor for the first time. Dennis had told me it was an animal soap opera starring meerkats. That it was.

As I got into bed last night I shared with Dennis all that he had missed..(unbelievably, he slept through the whole thing!!) Anyway, he missed Flower drink from her rival's waterhole, a fight between the two rivaling families, a matriarch (whose name I can't remember) lose her litter, the Whisker gang fighting off a cobra, Flower getting fatally bitten protecting her babies, rival sisters pregnant when they should not have been and needing some discipline, etc. I could go on and on. It was quite the drama.

By the time I finished telling him what he missed, I was laughing so hard I could hardly breathe. Then this morning, what was on again? Meerkat Manor!!! During the commercials a promo ran comparing it to "The Sopranos." I have truly never laughed so hard in my life! Has anyone else ever seen it? Does it make you laugh or cry? Has the meerkat phenomenon caught on at your house??

Who would have thought Meerkats would be so entertaining? How is RS going? Do you want a fun song for your VT conferenct? Some new words written to "If I Only Had a Brain" from Wizard of Oz. Let me know if you want these.

Please tell me that this is on regular TV, and not cable. It sounds so much better than Korean television. Maybe I could get Gabe to switch.
