We're back...

You can stop the "please post something new" campaign. So, to give you a little overview of our winter, we've literally had about 4 feet of snow this winter and the dirty ice mounds that still line the streets are proof. But just in case you think we exaggerate, I thought I'd post some pictures. (That and I think my kids are pretty darn cute!!)I asked Jackson and Taryn to tell me what they've thought was the MOST FUN thing we've done this winter. Here are their responses:

Jackson: COUSINS!!!! We had a great visit from The Krumperkids (with Paul & Jeanne) the day after Christmas. Of course it snowed about 8 inches while they were here. One afternoon the kids were playing in the snow and then disappeared. We found them across the street shoveling snow in our neighbor's driveway. Nice work Paige!! (I don't think Jackson did much shoveling...he was too busy throwing snow at Michael (the neigbor)). He got his revenge...by hanging Jackson upside down in the snow..Taryn: My dress-ups. Funny that that should be her winter highlight since she could dress up anytime, but she got a trunk of princess costumes and then Aunt Valerie added this one to the mix. I can barely get her to wear normal clothing anymore!!Otter: He barked when I asked him, obviously indicating that he just wanted to have pictures posted of how big he's getting.Janyse: I also thoroughly enjoyed the visit from the Grand Krumps (and Uncle Brad). We played games and it was a delight to watch Grrpa wrestle with Otter on the floor and then wrestle with Jackson. His comment, "You treat a 5-year-old just about the same way you do a large puppy." Amen.

Yeah, I'm so glad you posted. That was a fun trip, but not a fun drive, so once I'm over that, we'll come again.

Good!! We loved having you here!! Somehow our camera took about 30 pictures of Tyler in all of his cuteness...any idea how that happened??? I could start a shrine. =)

Wonderful pictures of all. But DO post some of the ones of Tyler in his CUTENESS. I, of course, would love to see them all. It snowed again here today, so I'd love it if Paige and Jackson would come help Grrrpa shovel the snow.

And I love tuning in to your blog, because it's the only time I can hear "POPULAR!" Great song. Let me know how your ankle is and if you end up getting to see "Wicked."

Honestly, I must be the only fool unlucky enough to sprain my ankle right before a trip to the Magic Kingdom. I imagine we'll walk a fair bit and I'll be sorry. As for Wicked, it's a repeat of last year's Price Is Right debauchle. Why can't my dreams just come true in LA??

Ah - I'm so glad you're back to the world of "BLOG"!!! I've checked your site nearly every day you know... This is great!
Such cute kids, and I hear you on the snow thing. We have dirty snow lining the streets everywhere here in Boston.

Jackson: Playing in the snow upside down looks like a lot of fun! :)

Taryn: I love the princess cowgirl outfit!

I'm not much of a dog person, but I think I could take to Otter - he looks like he could convince a snake to walk with those adorable little eyes of his.

Good to have you back! Keep up the posts! :)

Wow... I think it is amazing when you blog. You keep us in suspense for so long, but then you share some great things! Love it!!! The kids are still super cute, and I suppose I could call Otter cute? Did Dennis not have a favorite thing that he's done this winter? I'm slightly concerned by his absence from this post.

I don't know how I missed this exciting blog event. Good thing you dropped by to tell me there were new blogs to be read.
